Sakonnet Mishoon Launch & Paddle

Public Parking at Sakonnet Point is extremely limited.
- Local people are encouraged to walk or bike.
Lot 1 – Main Lot – Little Compton Historical Society, 548 West Main Road
- We strongly recommend using the parking field at the Little Compton Historical Society, 548 West Main Road, and taking the shuttle bus (6 minute ride).
- The shuttle will operate continuously from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. (Longer if the event takes longer.)
- Port-a-potty at this lot.
Lot 2 – Sakonnet Yacht Club – 163 Sakonnet Point Road
- Reserved for Elders (70+) or Handicapped Parking Permit Holders Only
- Recommended for those who choose not to walk on Lloyd’s Beach – an uneven cobbled stone beach with no walking paths.
- Restrooms available.
Lot 3 – Mataronas Lot – End of Sakonnet Point Road
- Reserved for Elders (70+), Families with Small Children, or Handicapped Parking Permit Holders Only
- Recommended for those who chose to walk 10 minutes to the launch site over uneven ground and cobbled stones.

Lloyd’s Beach – Launch Ceremony and Paddle
Sakonnet Point Path, a public walkway accessed via Bluff Head Ave. – Paddle
The Breakwater – Paddle & Landing
Sakonnet Yacht Club Dock – Recommended for Elders and People with Mobility Issues – Paddle & Landing
Sakonnet Harbor Beach – Please keep Boat Ramp Clear – Paddle & Landing
