Benjamin Franklin Wilbour (III) was a town historian (1887-1964). He wrote Notes on Little Compton and Little Compton Families. He also compiled a set of scrapbooks containing various items that would be of use to future historians – portraits, photographs of places, maps, and more.

A project to digitize each page of his scrapbooks began in 2017. You can download the scrapbooks as PDF files below.

If you are looking for more information about a specific page, you can visit the advanced search on our Online Collection. Each page has a penciled in catalog number that begins with “2007.2549”. If you enter that full number, including periods, into the “catalog number” field you will be able to find that specific entry. For example, searching “2007.2549.68” will bring up this entry.

You will need Adobe Acrobat to view these files. If you do not have Acrobat, go to the Adobe web site at https://get.adobe.com/reader/ to download the program before accessing the file.
