Textiles of this plant have been found across the archeological record and as far back as the first millennium BCE. This sturdy\, ubiquitous plant also played an important role in American history. In this class we’ll separate the fibers from the pith\, process and clean those fibers\, learn the basic hand twining process\, and make a simple bracelet.
