The Book The full-color, hardcover book contains just under 200 pages. In addition to being illustrated with dozens of historic images from the Historical Society's collection it features over 20 new works of art created by Sakonnet Area artists interpreting moments in Little Compton history. A second volume of Little Compton history from 1820 to the 20th century is scheduled for publication in 2012.
Buy The Book The book is $30. LCHS members receive a $5 discount on every book purchased. Readers may purchase the book during the Society's regular hours or may send a check to PO Box 577 that includes $5 shipping and handling for each book. Borrowing copies are available at the Brownell Library. Thanks to the generosity of the author and the book's sponsors, all proceeds from the sale of the book benefit the Little Compton Historical Society. |
